a soundtrack for the Lounge in your favorite swanky hotel

Thi is about Lounge music. Not the old Bill Murray skit from SNL type music. This is the chic Manhattan hotel lounge music. You know what I am talking about. That nice hotel always has “that” music playing in the lounge. It’s slightly in the background has a nice tempo nice sounding and never overwhelming. It took me years to find those songs (cause I like this type of music) and I admit they are often hit or miss when you get it out of the lounge and into the house. I could have made a 40 track cd but kept it to my top 27 songs. It will be a mix of the expected (if you have ever sat in one of these lounges) but there may be a couple of surprises mixed in. With that, here is my soundtrack for the nights you want to sit in your living room with that designer beer or some frou frou cocktail with a fancy swizzle stick in it acting like you are in the W Hotel in Manhattan:
